  • Sometimes it takes more than a new leader to make a company secure. Just as any other C-level executive, much to the day-to-day work will need to be passed on to the security staff. If you don’t have a good security team in place, bringing in a CISO may not help as much as you think.

  • Bringing in a virtual CISO can save the company money. This savings is mainly due to the avoidance of staff overhead such as PTO, benefits, and payroll taxes. The same is true for the rest of the security staff. In fact, it can be even more efficient since recruiting, training, and retention risk can be off-loaded as well.
