CISO Office

Leadership | Management | Execution

The CISO Office goes beyond leadership, oversight, and advisory service by empowering our leadership team with both management and execution focused staff. While some organizations already have staff that can benefit from the direction and guidance of our CISO executives, other organizations can benefit from a CISO that comes with a purpose built team who can functionally execute the vision of our executive staff.

Our Approach

Hiring a fully equipped security team is challenging. Security professionals are in high demand and focus narrowly on their craft which makes it hard to recruit a team that addresses all of an organizations cyber needs within a reasonable budget. Omni Group Consulting focuses on hiring diverse candidates and giving them unique experiences which span various roles and industries. In this way, we have built a roster that can address the needs of almost any company we work with.

Hiring our CISO Office engages our executive CISO staff and a purpose built team to address your organizations governance, risk, and compliance needs whether you need to outsource the entire security department or augment the team that is already in place.

Benefits:

  • Reduced overhead (no need for employee benefits, management, etc.)

  • Simplified resource management/allocation (no more stretched, distracted, or fatigued staff)

  • Scale of economy (a healthy amount of skill specialization and overlap)

  • Enhanced role continuity

  • Efficient team work

  • Better cost structure

  • Improved risk management

  • Turn key solution

  • Zero contractual long term commitments

  • Sometimes it takes more than a new leader to make a company secure. Just as any other C-level executive, much to the day-to-day work will need to be passed on to the security staff. If you don’t have a good security team in place, bringing in a CISO may not help as much as you think.

  • Bringing in a virtual CISO can save the company money. This savings is mainly due to the avoidance of staff overhead such as PTO, benefits, and payroll taxes. The same is true for the rest of the security staff. In fact, it can be even more efficient since recruiting, training, and retention risk can be off-loaded as well.

  • The baseball All-Star game is a great example of how a team of all-stars doesn’t always play well together. Outsourcing an entire team helps insure that the team plays well together and understands their roles. Putting together a team is not always easy and it’s far quicker to simply use a pre-made team.
